Print the Impossible

A concept I did for the South Australian Print Industry Craftsmans Awards.

This work was created as a concept for the 2013 Print Industries Craftsman Awards.  The main inspiration for this project comes from M.C. Escher and his impossible constructions.  After further research on other similar artists I came across a man called Oscar Reutersvärd, who was the pioneer of the impossible shape.  Reutersvärd produced more than 2500 of these mind-bending shapes during his time.  As you can probably see this is how the name for the project was incepted: Print the Impossible.  This project was created using a combination of Photoshop and Illustrator.
Thanks for watching
